A full three-storey renovation in Moseley — smart heating across five zones, EV chargers, brass external lighting, and a garden room with mesh WiFi. One of the more technically demanding installs we’ve completed.

Heatmiser smart heating across 5 zones, two Hypervolt EV chargers, traditional brass external lighting with smart controls, a fully wired garden room, and en-suite bathroom heating — all controlled through a single app. Here’s what was involved.
Smart Heating — 5 Zones
Heatmiser smart system across the whole property. Underfloor heating in the kitchen, radiators on the ground, first, and second floors, and independent control for the towel radiators and hot water. The boiler and cylinder sit in a converted basement, so an additional circulation pump was needed to push heat up through three floors. Three relays handle the hot water, central heating, and pump — all working seamlessly through the Heatmiser app.

EV Chargers
Two Hypervolt smart EV charging points installed on the property. Clean design that sits flush against the wall, with full app control — charge scheduling, usage tracking, and remote monitoring, all from your phone.
External Lighting
Traditional brass-style wall lights across the front elevation — chosen to match the antique brass theme running through the house. Smart control with PIR motion sensing, photocell, timer, and manual override. The doorbell was replaced and wired through the existing push button.

Garden Room
The outbuilding was finished to a high standard — trimless plastered-in downlights, antique brass sockets and switches, and a dedicated supply for the hot tub. Motion sensor lights on the outside. The mesh WiFi was extended from the main house to give full coverage inside the garden room and across the garden.
En-suite & Bathroom Heating
Electric underfloor heating and heated towel radiators in the en-suite — both linked into the Heatmiser system so heating and hot water across the whole house is managed in one place. The pendant light over the copper bath was the finishing touch.
